This course was designed as an introductory program in fall protection principles, and is intended to be used as a guide only. Fall protection is a method to prevent a person from falling or by reducing the distance of a fall, to limit physical damage.

In this module you will learn about the anatomy of a fall, the different fall hazards (ladders, scaffolds, buckets, towers, work platforms), how to eliminate, prevent, and control a fall, falls from the ground or an elevated surface, fall protection and provincial height requirements, fall clearance, PFAs (personal fall arrest systems, and more.
