Course Description:
Construction work is dangerous – work involving trenching and shoring activities tends to be the most hazardous in the industry, yet we see it going on all the time. Excavations are required for the installation and repair of utility lines, replacement of water and sewer lines, swimming pool construction and even grave digging. These projects vary considerable, each with its own set of unique problems. This module will inform participants of the risks of trenching and shoring activities and provide information on how to work safely.
