Course Description:
Employees must receive training on the proper use of the equipment in the workplace. The main goal of ladder safety is to prevent injuries from slips and falls while using ladders or stilts. This program is designed to give the learner crucial knowledge and information about the whys and hows of ladder and stilt safety. It will also help you understand and interpret the ladder safety program.  

This module focuses on government legislation, the ladder inspection process, and the different types of ladders – four of which will be covered. Some very important safety tips will also be covered, providing learners with the proper information and practices on how to work properly.

Please note: This program covers the theory portion of this training only.  Students must complete practical training to receive full certification.  At the end of this course, you will be provided with a checklist that can be used for your practical training.

Testing conducted throughout this course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved to receive a certificate of completion. Participants can repeat the course if the passing mark is not achieved.
