Working with and around compressed gases have associated hazards if safe work practices are not implemented and taken. Workers who use compressed has should be informed of the hazards, handling procedures, and emergency response to prevent potential injury or property damage.
By completing this module, learners will be able to know and recognize the different types of compressed gas containers and the different cylinder characteristics. Learners will understand the related standards of activities (transportation, storage and use) involving compressed gasses and how to safely handle, store and use.

Testing conducted throughout this course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course if the pass mark is not achieved.
