Course Description:
At home or at work, if not used correctly, a chain saw can be a dangerous tool. This module will go over the mandatory safety requirements for anyone using a chain saw.
For the purpose of this program the Canadian Standards Association’s Standard Z62.1-03 Chain Saws and Z62.3-04 Chain Saw Kickback are used as reference material.

Testing conducted throughout this course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course if the pass mark is not achieved.
