Course Description:
This module is for Ontario only.  This course is in English. 

The worker awareness training program is comprised of three modules which are designed to provide all workers with the basics of health and safety, as it is applied to the workplace. On working through this training program, learners will better understand their obligations and role to health and safety within the workplace.  This program covers the topics required for the Ontario Health & Safety Worker Awareness Training.

Topics Covered:
Upon successful completion of the program, you will be knowledgeable and/or demonstrate proficiency in understanding:

• The Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
• Common workplace hazards
• The duties of the employer, supervisor, and worker

Course Access: 
You will have access to complete this course for 30 days. 
Please note: If the course is not completed within 30 days, a new purchase will be required.

Assessment:
Testing conducted throughout this course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved to receive a certificate of completion. Participants can repeat the course if the pass mark is not achieved.
