Course Description:
This course provides the new standard for WHMIS within Canada that has been updated with the Global Harmonization System (GHS).  Our WHMIS online program adheres to Canadian regulations.

All Canadian jurisdictions require that employers provide their workers with the necessary information to work safely with hazardous chemicals. This is part of a worker’s right to know. By completing this module, learners will be instructed in the requirements for labels and data sheets, how to read a WHMIS label and MSDS, how a product can affect the worker's health and safety, and the appropriate safe work procedures for working with chemicals.  This course has a one-year expiry for those wishing to refresh each year.
